

Scott Wheeler to speak at the Annual Meeting

Scott is the author of five regional history books: "Rumrunners and Revenuers: Prohibition in Vermont","When Salmon was King", "Voices from the Clyde River", and "Don “Sleepy” McNally: From Vaudeville to Drive-In Pioneer"and his latest "Newport’s Centennial: Voices from a Lakeside Community". Also a public speaker, Scott interviewed on local, state, national and international radio and television programs, including Vermont Public Radio, CBC Radio in Canada, and the History Channel. He is a former Vermont legislator and host of a weekly television show on NEK-TV called “The Northeast Kingdom Voice” and a weekly radio show on WJJZ Country called “The Vermont Voice”. Scott was born and raised in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom where he lives with his wife Penny.
